pre production planninpitch

This is the logo that i have designed for fair trade clothing. This logo will be shown on my poster so the audience that the cloths are part of fair trade. I decided to make sure i show the 't' and 'f' clearly in the fair trade logo. i have made the logo stand out with the word 'fair' which looks like the word 'air'.
this will show to the audience how far their cloths will have to travel.

From my plan i decided to think about what type of lettering would fit with my logo. I repurchased different types of lettering and found one that fitted. i chose this lettering because it shows to the audience that the cloths that they are buying have been separate material and are being fixed together. Likewise, i then tried to design the logo onto the computer. i used straight lines for the logo to draw the audience in and to make it more effective.
Location:
For my location of the models i decided to link my first location/ background to travel. This is because it will link with my logo with the "air" and the map in the background. Also, i have decided to do the location linked to travel as the cloths that they will be buying have been traveled from all over the word. The first location that i will doing is in a car park, the model will be standing in front of the car to represent the different types of travel and locations.
Another location that i am going to do is a brick wall with street art on. This is because is links with my research on advertising but also goes with different types of culture and art. This will draw the reader in because of the different bright colours and the imagination. This will create a exciting and happy side to the poster which will make people buy the clothing.

I have created a brand logo which will go onto my posters. I have decided to use an outline of the world behind the text to show the audience that their cloths that they are buying have come from all over the world.

fair-trade foundation

what is fair-trade?
Fairtrade is a simple way to make a difference to the lives of the people who grow the things we love. They do this by changing the way trade works through better prices, decent working conditions and a fair deal for farmers and workers in developing countries.

Fairtrade sets standards: Fairtrade Standards social, economic and environmental standards that are set for both companies and the farmers and workers who grow the food we love. For farmers and workers the standards include protection of workers’ rights and the environment, for companies they include the payment of the Fairtrade Minimum Price and an additional Fairtrade Premium to invest in business or community projects of the community’s choice.

Fairtrade works with companies’ own schemes: Shopper demand has driven companies to start thinking about sustainability. When considering whether to partner in some way with a business-own sustainability scheme, Fairtrade compares the way the scheme works to a set of core Fairtrade principles. This is to ensure we only work with schemes that share our values. These principles are at the heart of Fairtrade’s mission and activities, and include ensuring that producers are paid a fair price, working to support strong, flourishing producer organisations and enabling democratic decision-making by farmers and workers on their business and community development.
